Linwood Animal Hospital's Dedicated Team
Meet our skilled team of veterinary technicians, receptionists, and hospital manager. They will take great care of you and your pets!
Cyndi — Hospital Manager
Cyndi joined Linwood Animal Hospital in 2004. She started working as a receptionist, but has also been cross-trained as a veterinary technician. Cyndi became Hospital Manager in September 2014. She is committed to making sure every client and patient's experience at Linwood surpasses their expectations at every visit!
Cyndi has five dogs of her own — a Rottweiler named Kholbe, a Bull Mastiff Mix named Maxx, a St. Bernard/Great Dane mix named Duke, a Cairn terrier named Charlie, and a Lab/terrier mix named Roxxi. She spends her free time with her four-legged children as well as husband, Sean, and her human son, Jaden. Jaden tells his mom that "Duke is not a dog; he's a dinosaur!"
Luz — Certified Veterinary Technician
Luz joined the Linwood Animal Hospital team in 1993. She is bilingual in Spanish and English which is a great help to our clients. Luz received her degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in 1997. She has shared her many years of experience helping train new staff members and helping take care of our patients and their owners.
Luz has a calico cat named Allie and shares custody of a Chihuahua named Kala with her daughter and a mixed breed dog named Sandy with her grandson. Luz maintains her license with continuing education courses every year to keep up to date with new trends and topics in veterinary medicine.
Janet — Veterinary Technician
Janet started work at Linwood Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician in 2007, just shortly after earning her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine from UMass Amherst. She is responsible for all of Linwood's ordering and inventory needs.
Because of allergies in her family, Janet cannot have her own dogs or cats, so she gets her "animal fix" at Linwood. If she could have her own dog, she would definitely get a shelter mutt, and wishes more people would start their search for their perfect pet at the many wonderful shelters and rescue organizations.
Amanda — Veterinary Technician
Amanda has been employed as a veterinary technician and receptionist since 2004. She has a magic touch with nervous patients, keeping them calm and comfortable during their visits. She is attending Middlesex Community College to further her education. Amanda spends her free time with her family and Alice, her pitbull.
Jennifer — Veterinary Technician
Jennifer joined the Linwood Animal Hospital team in 2013 as a veterinary technician. After volunteering at the MSPCA, Jen decided to take veterinary technician courses at Mount Ida College. Her favorite part of work is using Linwood's new laser therapy machine to help animals recover from various problems such as arthritis. Her other interests include music, art, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Bryanna — Receptionist & Veterinary Technician
Bryanna started working at Linwood Animal Hospital in 2014. She started as a receptionist, but has been crossed-trained as a technician. Before her career at LAH, she worked as a nurse's aide for three years, but has always had a passion for animals. Bryanna loves to read and spends her free time with her boyfriend, Steve, and their rambunctious Siberian husky, Nitro!
Laura — Receptionist
Laura has been a front desk receptionist at Linwood Animal Hospital since November 2000. She has four cats that keep her busy. As a child, Laura grew up on a small family farm where her fondness of animals first began. When not at work, she enjoys spending time at home with her family.
Jamie — Receptionist & Veterinary Technician
Jamie started working at Linwood Animal Hospital in 2015. She was hired as a receptionist, but is eager to cross-train as a technician! Jamie lives in Western Massachusetts with her two dogs, Bear and Tulip. Tulip was a rescue from the Lowell Humane Society!
Valerie — Receptionist
Valerie has been a part-time receptionist at Linwood Animal Hospital since 1992, after being a stay-at-home mom for many years. Valerie lives in Chelmsford with her husband and has two grown children and two grandchildren.
Val is an avid New England Patriots fan, and enjoys reading, traveling, camping, and spending time with her family — especially her grandkids!
